I heard there was an android 11 issue so applied the 'workaround' disabling all accessibility features I had enabled.

Note: Take notice that here Thumbsticks are recognized by the hardware mapping menu. in this 'setup controller hardware' menu option terraria said I had a Controller: 'Virtual' and it only detected and was able to remap D-pad, both Thumbsticks (sometimes called е…ѓ and R3), select,start and A,B,X,Y buttons, in the other hand both joysticks left and right horizontal and vertical axis were not recognized also the shoulders L1,L2 and triggers R1,R2 were not recognized as well. Next, I tried using the menu option 'setup controller hardware', it appeared only when turning off then turn on gamepad (small bug?), so. When tried to 'Edit controller Settings' terraria didn't allow me to change any control. This gamepad issue on terraria is a bit complex so the whole story is explained below.ДЇirst try (tried with both Dinput and Xinput, same result), all gamepad buttons were not recognized in game except for L1 which actually was the only button detected ingame.

I know that currently there are many people facing gamepad issues with android 11 update and some 'accesibility' settings as well and it might be related. I tested different android games, emulators and even gamepad tester apps and all of them indicate the controller(all buttons, including triggers and thumbsticks) is working correctly. The gamepad seems to work correctly with everything except terraria.

OS: Kubuntu 20.04 amd64, Linux 5.4.I recently bought an 8bit do SN30 pro gamepad with the purpose of playing terraria and some retro games, this gamepad has basically two types of bluetooth connection I can use Dinput or Xinput. I did try tilting the laptop though, but since this didn't make the character walk, that's likely not the problem. Not sure if relevant, but the first joystick entry (/dev/input/js0) is always the laptop's built-in accelerometer (I can't change this), OS displays it as 'ST LIS3LV02DL Accelerometer (/dev/input/js0)'. on USB cable: OS displays it as 'SNES30 SNES30 Joy (/dev/input/js1)' on Bluetooth, in Android mode: OS displays it as '8Bitdo SNES30 GamePad (/dev/input/js1)' on Bluetooth, in XInput mode (Xbox): OS displays it as '8Bitdo SNES30 GamePad(x) (/dev/input/js1)' on USB cable: OS displays it as '8Bitdo NES30 Pro 8Bitdo NES30 Pro (/dev/input/js1)' also tested re-plugging the cable while game is open on Bluetooth, in Nintendo mode (Switch Pro controller): OS displays it as 'Pro Controller (/dev/input/js1)' on Bluetooth, in XInput mode (Xbox): OS displays it as '8Bitdo NES30 Pro(x) (/dev/input/js1)' I've tested with my 8bitdo controllers: NES30 Pro and SNES 30 in various modes, but none works. I also tried changing 'Gamepad Mode' preference on pause menu, but it didn't help. I've also trying assigning buttons on the pause menu, but the game just doesn't recognize the controller.

I try to walk, press buttons, nothing happens. The OS recognizes it fine, but not the game. The game makes it seem like there's gamepad support even in PC version, but my 8bitdo controllers aren't being recognized by the game at all.
